Dane Crozier

Dane has been an active percussionist/drummer in Chicago since moving to the city in 2010.  His performance experience covers a lot of ground and has given him the opportunity to share the stage with many amazing musicians including The Knights, Vadim Gluzman, Anne Akiko Meyers, Alessio Bax, New Music Detroit, the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Goldford, the Gold Coast All Stars, the Chicago Players, Lakeshore Rush, and Sidewalk Chalk to name a few.  Dane has performed throughout the U.S. at venues and festivals such as Ravinia, the North Shore Chamber Music Festival, PASIC, Lincoln Hall, Windy City Live, the Chicago Marathon, and the Juilliard School.  In addition, he is the founder of Chicago Percussion Lessons and an instructor at Terra Sounds in Glenview, IL as well as Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL which was named a National GRAMMY Signature School in 2013.

In 2007, Dane teamed up with percussionists John Doing and Mike Truesdell to form Spectrum Trio. Spectrum has since performed and taught throughout the U.S. including the University of Wisconsin, Lawrence Conservatory, University of Michigan, the Juilliard Summer Percussion Seminar, and Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). Their self-titled album was hailed as "one of the most inventive and resourceful local albums to come out in recent years" - the A.V. Club

Though he is just breaking ground into the world of photography, Dane has always had a deep interest in capturing images on 'film'. Yes, some of his favorite photos were enhanced with instagram - ah well.
